Lillee Jean will be going live, via Lillee Jean TALKS live, with Atlanta-based writer, director, and activist, Tiana Ferrell, this October 20th, at 6 pm EST.

Tiana’s written works include, So Emotional: Book of Poetry and The Ladies Car. Her stage play, The Ladies Car, has been performed in the Southeast including at the HBCU, Rust College, and was an official selection of the Atlanta Black Theatre Festival. In addition to writing, Tiana has produced various live award shows for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) as well as produced a faith-based talk show. She has assisted with publicity on various films including Takers, Shark Night 3D, Limitless, and Death at a Funeral. Tiana is a member of The Dramatist Guild. Being the great-great-granddaughter of Ida B. Wells, Tiana strives to promote and preserve her legacy that began over a century ago. She loves her community and takes pride in advocating for those who are underserved and disproportionately affected because of their race, class, disability, or gender.

Tiana serves as a volunteer and shares her time with many community organizations. She was recognized by the Georgia House of Representatives with a Resolution commending her work and contributions in the state of Georgia.
